Comments:
What a lovely resort this is! Cala Bona is a small friendly old fishing port with all the Spanish charm but with a decidedly Brit feel. There are some wonderful restaurants like Smithy's and the Red Lion together with a must visit Karaoke Bar Sandancers. There is a really pretty harbour and a couple of lovely beaches although they are a little rocky in places. Just a short walk away is the resort of Cala Millor with long sandy beaches and numerous, bars, restaurants, cafes and a couple of clubs. This is a fabulous holiday for families and the more senior citizens and I will have no hesitation in re-booking. The Hotel Bonaire is a must for anyone who has children. There is entertainment on from morning to night and the Thomsons reps look after children from 0 to 15 with loads and loads of activities.
Useful Tips:
Sandancers Karaoke bar, Smithy's, Red Lion, Argos bar right on the beach.

Comments:
The area of Cala Bona has a great mixture of Spanish, German and British influence. With a gorgeous harbour & beach to choose from you are spoilt for choice as to where to sit/relax and watch the world go by. Cala Bona is a short walk from Cala Millior where all the night time activities can be found. A destination i will revisit.
Useful Tips:
Pay a visit to the harbour oposite the Cala Bona Hotel you will find three offices offering boat trips around the island and further up the coast - i would recommend the 'Spanish' agent's office in the middle as that's where you'll find the best rate for a trip. The tourist information centre was only open before 12pm when we visited so ensure you pop in early enough to gather all your information.

Comments:
Cala Bona is a great destination as it is quieter than a lot of the other resorts in Mallorca. The marina is lovely and there's a small beach (larger beach at Cala Millor). Lots of nice restaurants and bikes available to hire. You can also take a variety of boat trips to other resorts. All in all a perfect location for a good value holiday.
Useful Tips:
Sandwich shop on the marina offers a huge choice of sandwiches and traditional cakes and sweets.
